Mobile Nurse San Diego

All Mobile Nurse San Diego Care Assistants are partnered with a Registered Nurse who will oversee your at-home care experience. 

To assure absolute satisfaction, four levels of care are available for your consideration. 

Level One:  Non Medical Assistance includes your choice of specific assistance needed and also:

• Meals prepared and served
• Companionship
• A reminder about medication
• Transportation to appointments or meetings
• Shopping or Erands (using your vehicle)
• Light housekeeping, laundry
• Accompany to entertainment

Level Two:  All specific assistance as above and additionally:

• Assistance with bathing and personal grooming
• Oral Care
• Skin Care
• Ambulation management to include walker safety
• Accompaning and Monitoring exercise
• Assistance with special diet as ordered
• Assistance with oxygen delivery as co-ordinated with the partnered nurse.

Level Three:  CA Nursing Assistants provide an advanced level of care to include all of the above care as well as:

• Vital signs are taken daily, recorded and reported for any indication of abnormal value
• Bedridden clients are turned at least every two hours and monitored closely to prevent the onset  of skin breakdown (decubitus formation)
• Transfer management and or ambulation assistance may include gait belt safety
• Intake and output is noted and recorded
• Feeding and swallow ability and status is monitored
• Toileting and elimination is assisted or immediate incontinence care is effected
• Foley Catheter and Ostomy site care and bag emptying is as needed or at least every eight hours. 

Level Four:  This service is developed specifically and arranged to provide 24 hour live-in care and home assistance.  All needed care is arranged to meet the specific and continual care of the client.  This works particularly well for clients who wish to remain at home but have no immediate family members living close by. MNSD co-ordinates care and communication for the client and family members.
